Taken this weekend at Centennial Park in Nashville. It was an awesome January day. Overcast and 60 degrees...great recipe for shooting. This is my friend Julia, hopefully we will be collaborating on a significant portrait project.

This is my friend and my wedding photography business partner Yenny Zarama Walker. She is also, believe it or not, a model :) I took the image on location at Marathon Village in Nashville, TN. My background is photojournalism so, I didn't to shoot images like this for the first 15 years of my career. I mainly photographed new and sports. I love when people will sit still for my portraits.
